“We’re Always Here When You Call”: Eric Garcetti Highlights India-US Ties
US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti recently emphasized the strong friendship between the United States and India, particularly when it comes to addressing border issues. “We know sometimes we face the same enemies, so if they’re non-state actors or state actors, we are stronger together,” Garcetti told ANI. While reaffirming the United States’ commitment to supporting India, Garcetti stressed that India’s challenges are for the Indian government and its people to address. “We’re very clear that is not something for us from the outside to teach and preach,” he said, highlighting the importance of respecting India’s sovereignty.
